Job Title: US IT Bench Sales Executive
Location: Vijayawada
Reports To: Bench Sales Manager / Sales Lead
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic US IT Bench Sales Executive with 2+ years of experience in staffing and recruiting within the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in selling bench resources, managing client relationships, and generating revenue through placement of IT professionals. This position involves working with clients, understanding their staffing needs, and positioning bench candidates to maximize sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sell Bench Resources:
Actively market and sell bench IT consultants (candidates on the bench) to clients in the US, including IT services companies, consulting firms, and end clients. Identify and close opportunities for placing bench candidates on projects/contracts.
Client Interaction & Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with US-based clients, recruitment agencies, and staffing managers. Understand their hiring requirements and present relevant bench candidates to fulfill their needs.
Candidate Profiling & Marketing:
Review resumes and skill sets of bench candidates. Tailor marketing strategies to highlight the strengths and experience of consultants. Share candidate profiles, resumes, and relevant information with clients.
Cold Calling & Networking:
Engage in cold calling, networking, and outreach to generate new business and expand the client base. Use platforms like LinkedIn, job portals, and staffing networks to identify potential clients and staffing opportunities.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
Negotiate terms of employment, pay rates, and contracts with clients. Ensure successful closure of deals by effectively positioning bench candidates and highlighting their skills and expertise.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with recruiters, account managers, and other team members to ensure that bench candidates are ready for client-facing opportunities and fully prepared for interviews.
Sales Target & Revenue Generation:
Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets related to bench placements. Meet or exceed revenue goals and contribute to the growth of the staffing business.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and the competitive landscape in the staffing industry. Provide insights into market demand for specific technologies or skill sets to help shape the business development strategy.
Pipeline Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, candidate submissions, and deal progress. Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and generate reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in US IT Bench Sales, IT Staffing, or Recruitment Sales. A proven track record of placing bench resources or IT professionals with US clients.
Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport with clients, present candidates effectively, and close deals.
Client Relationship Management:
Experience in managing relationships with clients and a strong ability to understand their staffing requirements. Ability to handle client queries, negotiate, and build long-term partnerships.
Sales Skills & Target Orientation:
Goal-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and revenue generation. Previous success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Understanding of IT Skills & Technologies:
Knowledge of key IT technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, Cloud, Data Science, SAP, etc.) and the ability to assess candidates' technical capabilities to meet client needs.
Cold Calling & Business Development:
Proficiency in cold calling, prospecting new clients, and expanding the client base through networking and relationship-building.
CRM & Applicant Tracking Systems:
Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, Bullhorn, or similar tools) for managing leads, opportunities, and reporting. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
Organizational & Time Management Skills:
Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients, candidates, and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field.
- Familiarity with US labor laws and regulations related to IT staffing and contract placements.
- Experience working with VMS (Vendor Management Systems) or direct client contracts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
