US IT Bench Sales Recruiter

Job Title: US IT Bench Sales Recruiter  

Location: Vijayawada 

Reports To: Bench Sales Manager / Sales Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for a US IT Bench Sales Recruiter with 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in marketing bench IT resources to potential clients, negotiating contracts, and helping our clients meet their staffing needs with skilled professionals. This role focuses on selling bench IT resources to US-based clients, with a primary responsibility to drive placements and revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Bench Sales & Resource Marketing:

Sell Bench IT Resources: 

  Actively market bench IT professionals (consultants who are currently between projects) to potential clients in the US. Identify suitable candidates for open roles with a focus on skills and expertise such as Java, .NET, Python, Cloud, Data Science, etc.

  

Profile Candidates & Present to Clients:  

  Review resumes, highlight key skills, and create compelling candidate profiles to present to clients. Work closely with recruiters and technical teams to understand the candidates' strengths and match them with client requirements.

 

Client Interaction: 

  Build and maintain relationships with US-based clients (consulting companies, direct clients, and IT service providers). Understand their resource needs and present qualified bench candidates.

 

2. Cold Calling & Lead Generation:

Client Acquisition:  

  Proactively prospect new clients through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and networking to expand the bench sales pipeline. Develop and maintain a client base of companies looking for IT staffing solutions.

 

Lead Follow-Up & Nurturing:  

  Follow up on inbound leads and nurture relationships with existing clients to increase opportunities for bench placements. Use CRM tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

 

3. Negotiation & Deal Closure:

Contract Negotiation: 

  Negotiate pay rates, terms of employment, and other contractual details with clients to finalize placements. Work closely with the client and candidate to ensure smooth and successful onboarding.

 

Placement Follow-Up: 

  Once a candidate is placed, continue to liaise with both the client and consultant to ensure satisfaction and resolve any potential issues.

 

4. Pipeline Management & Reporting:

Sales Pipeline:  

  Maintain an updated pipeline of bench candidates and sales opportunities. Ensure accurate tracking of leads, submissions, placements, and follow-ups.

 

CRM Management:  

  Use CRM systems (Salesforce, Bullhorn, etc.) to track client interactions, maintain records, and report on sales activities, conversions, and placement metrics.

 

5. Collaborate with Internal Teams:

Coordination with Recruiting Team: 

  Collaborate with the internal recruiting team to get updates on available bench resources, ensure candidates are ready for client submissions, and provide them with the necessary details (resume, skill sets, availability, etc.).

 

Client Feedback:  

  Work with the delivery or account management team to gather feedback from clients and ensure the client’s needs are fully met. Provide recommendations for improvements in candidate selection and sales processes.

 

6. Market Intelligence & Industry Trends:

Competitive Analysis:  

  Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and changing client requirements in the US IT staffing space. Share insights with the sales team to refine strategies.

 

Technology Trends:  

  Stay informed about emerging technologies in the IT sector (e.g., AI, cloud computing, data analytics) and ensure knowledge of the technical skills required for client projects.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

Experience:

  2+ years of experience in US IT Bench Sales, IT Staffing, or Recruitment Sales with a focus on selling bench resources.

 

Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: 

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to engage and influence clients.

 

Sales Skills & Target-Oriented: 

  Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment, managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue goals.

 

Understanding of IT Roles & Technologies:  

  Good understanding of various IT roles (e.g., software developers, system admins, cloud engineers) and technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, AWS, Python, etc.) that are in demand for staffing.

 

Cold Calling & Lead Generation:  

  Proven track record in cold calling, networking, and identifying new business opportunities to expand the client base.

 

Client Relationship Management:  

  Experience in maintaining long-term client relationships, understanding their staffing needs, and providing suitable candidates from the bench pool.

 

CRM & Recruitment Tools:  

  Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn, Zoho CRM) and other recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster) to track leads, submissions, and candidate information.

 

Time Management & Organization: 

  Ability to manage multiple client relationships, candidates, and sales opportunities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field.

- Knowledge or experience with VMS (Vendor Management Systems) and direct client contracts is a plus.

- Familiarity with US staffing laws and regulations, including H1B, OPT, CPT, and other visa types.

- Previous experience in a high-volume staffing environment (consulting, IT, or technology services).
