Job Title: HR Executive – IT Sector
Location: Vijayawada
Reports To: HR Manager / HR Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive with 2 years of experience in the **IT sector** to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will assist with end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and other HR activities tailored to the IT industry. The role involves working closely with managers and employees to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
End-to-End Recruitment:
Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for IT roles (e.g., software developers, system admins, business analysts, etc.) including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating offer letters.
Sourcing Candidates:
Use various sourcing channels like LinkedIn, job portals, social media, and employee referrals to identify and engage potential candidates for open positions.
Interview Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Assist in technical and behavioral interview processes when necessary.
Onboarding:
Conduct the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Provide new employees with orientation, company policies, and necessary documentation.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement:
Employee Support:
Act as a point of contact for employees’ HR-related queries and concerns. Provide guidance on policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
Employee Engagement:
Organize and assist in employee engagement activities, including team-building events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
Conflict Resolution:
Support in resolving employee grievances and conflicts, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and in line with company policies.
3. Performance Management:
Performance Appraisals:
Assist in coordinating the performance appraisal process. Ensure that performance reviews are conducted on time, and help managers provide constructive feedback.
Training and Development:
Collaborate with the learning and development team to identify training needs and help employees develop their skills. Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions and workshops.
4. HR Administration:
Employee Records:
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements. Ensure that all documentation (e.g., contracts, leave records, attendance, etc.) is accurate and up to date.
HR Policies & Compliance:
Assist in the implementation and enforcement of company policies and ensure that HR practices comply with labor laws and regulations, especially in the IT sector.
Payroll Support:
Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll. Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and benefits administration.
5. Miscellaneous HR Functions:
HR Reports & Analytics:
Assist in preparing HR reports, including turnover rates, absenteeism data, recruitment metrics, and other key HR performance indicators. Analyze data to support HR decision-making.
Exit Process:
Assist in conducting exit interviews and ensure a smooth offboarding process for employees leaving the company. Help in processing final settlements and return of company assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Executive in the IT sector or a similar fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Strong Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
Organizational Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge of HR Practices:
Good understanding of HR policies, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and other key HR functions.
Familiarity with IT Industry Needs:
Understanding of the unique staffing needs and challenges in the IT sector, including knowledge of common IT roles, skills, and certifications (e.g., Java, .NET, Cloud technologies, etc.).
Proficiency with HR Software :
Familiarity with HRMS (Human Resource Management Systems) such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar software for managing employee data, attendance, and performance.
Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution:
Ability to handle employee concerns and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner while maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience in handling recruitment for technical positions (e.g., software developers, network engineers, data analysts) in the IT industry.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the IT sector, especially in the US (if the company is operating globally).
